Product Description
The white wine Anima Osca by Tenimenti Grieco is an elegant blend of Falanghina (50%), Chardonnay (40%), and Pinot Grigio (10%). The grapes are sourced from vineyards in San Martino in Pensilis and Campomarino (CB), thriving on mineral-rich alluvial soils at altitudes of 80 to 150 meters above sea level.
This white wine stands out with its clear floral and fruity aromas. On the palate, it is soft, with a pleasant freshness and delicate minerality, finishing with a subtle almond note. A versatile wine that captures the essence of the Molise region in every glass.
Winemaking
The production of Anima Osca white wine is carried out with great care and traditional methods:
- Manual Harvesting: Grapes are handpicked and carefully selected from late August to mid-September.
- Gentle Pressing: After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed to extract the best juice fractions.
- Fermentation: Thermo-controlled fermentation at 16°C for 15 days to preserve the freshness of the aromas.
- Aging: The wine matures "sur lies" (on fine lees) with weekly stirring to enhance complexity and structure.
- Bottling: The wine is bottled in March following the harvest to ensure its freshness and quality.
